This is the start of the build blog for our family project: building a full-size remote controlled astromech droid.
We will be building two droids. A standard R2-D2 as well as a customized R5 unit called R5-4M. For those who are wondering the 4M stands for "For Mya" with Mya being our daughter. Stay tuned here for all future updates!
